Overview:
Two hit men arrive in a small town to kill boxer Lancaster. He doesn't resist, and the script details his past connections with crooks and criminal hangers-on such as the seductive Gardner. Closer to Ernest Hemingway's original story than the 1964 remake. Lancaster and Gardner are particularly good.
