Overview:
Based on the semi-documentary novel by Truman Capote, this tale of the real-life crime of the ruthless killing of an innocent Kansas family by two drifters is still an extremely mesmerizing and disturbing film to watch.
Richard Brooks was nominated for an Academy Award for both script and direction as was Quincy Jones for the musical score. It made into a television mini-series in 1996.
